Carly and Justin had a beautiful winter Cliffs at Glassy Chapel Wedding. The day was filled with love and excitement. A truly sweet wedding for the new Mr. and Mrs. Sweet!

Engagement Session at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel

I first got to meet Carly and Justin in person at their Engagement Session at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel last Fall. After communicating online back and forth through email and booking, it was so great to finally meet them in person for their session. We had an extremely windy day to during the session, and there was no controlling it. But despite the wind, Carly and Justin kept great attitudes and had fun. This allowed us to create some amazing images to cherish. And I just knew their wedding would be amazing too!

Love Story

“When we met, we were both not sure what we were looking for, but quickly connected through shared values and interests and could talk on the phone for hours through the night even when Justin had to wake up at 4am for work. We have loved getting to know each other while making special memories with family, friends, traveling, hiking and going on many new adventures! We enjoy cooking and baking new recipes together as well as checking out unique local restaurants. We had been dating for a year and 8 months when Justin proposed. He proposed in one of our favorite places, Boone, NC on a waterfall hike with a couple dear friends. It was a complete surprise! The best birthday gift ever!”

“One of a Kind” Moments at Cliffs at Glassy Chapel Wedding

When I asked Carly and Justin what were the most important, “one of a kind” moments they didn’t want to miss on their wedding day, these were the things they mentioned. We were sure to capture these moments for them on their special day!

Many More Pictures from Cliffs at Glassy Chapel Wedding

Now that I’ve shared a few of the most important pictures, I have many more to share in this post from their whole wedding day! The day started at Greigestone at the Ridge where the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready. Next they headed to The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel for pre-ceremony pictures, the ceremony, bride and groom portraits, and family pictures. Then the night ended again at Greigestone at the Ridge for their fun reception with friends and family.

It was an honor to walk through Carly and Justin’s wedding photography experience with them, and I’m so thankful they trusted me throughout the whole process! Due to some unforeseen health issues, I was unable to be at their wedding day in person, but I had an amazing associate photographer and friend, Jessie, capture the wedding day for me. So, all of these pictures were taken by Jessie and my second photographer, Kayla, and edited and delivered by me! Enjoy even more pictures from this huge sneak peek from their wedding day! And be sure to check out all of their amazing vendors at the end of the post too!
