This Reid Farm Wedding has been one I’ve been looking forward to sharing from the time I met Carley and Keifer.  I met Carley over a zoom call in early February 2021, and I felt like we hit it off and were on the same page for goals for her wedding photography from the start!

Carley had been referred to me by the owners of Reid Farm in Lexington, NC and fell in love with the pictures she had seen from a previous wedding I had done there.  I was so thankful I was referred to them to get in touch!  After our zoom call going over all the details and collections I offered, Carley contacted me the very next day after speaking with her fiance, Keifer, and her Mom, and told me she definitely wanted to book!  I think she was one of the fastest booking clients I’ve ever had, and for that I am so honored!

The Complete Wedding Photography Experience

Carley and Keifer decided to have the complete Wedding Photography expereince with me from start to finish – Engagement Session, Bridal Session, and Wedding Day.  Before we get to their gorgeous, sunny wedding day at Reid Farm, here are some of my favorites from their Engagement Session at Glendale Shoals Preserve and Carley’s Bridal Session, also done at Reid Farm.

Favorite parts of this Reid Farm Wedding Day

* First Dance by the water:  Instead of having their first dance up in the covered pavilion of the reception area, Carley and Keifer decided to have it down by the waterfront.  This of course, made for some gorgeous pictures during this special time.  Both for the new married couple’s first dance, as well as the father daughter dance and the mother son dance.

* Supportive Family:  Carley and Keifer’s families were both so supportive and happy for them throughout the wedding day!  It really makes a difference when those you love come together to help you, not only through your wedding day, but also promising to be there for you during your marriage.  Reid Farm had such a beautiful place in front of the water, and under the decorated arbour for family photos.

* Fun Wedding Party:  The bridesmaids and groomsmen in the wedding party were really so fun and went along with everything I suggested!  All the walking and talking shots, the celebrate shots, and the laughing shots were made all the better with this fun group!

* Sunset Photos by the Lake:  Reid Farm has the most gorgeous lake, and what a beautiful sunset to compliment it!  I was so glad that Carley and Keifer chose to leave their reception for a few moments to get some of these romantic sunset photos.  Totally worth it, I think!
