Courtney and Garrett’s Engagement Session at The Hitching Post in Harmony, NC was absolutely gorgeous!! Both the setting of the wedding venue itself and these two made it all the more beautiful! Courtney and Garrett will be getting married at The Hitching Post wedding venue next Spring, and I was thrilled to do their Engagement Session here for them!
When I asked Courtney what their story was after she first contacted me, this is how she described her and Garrett’s story,
“We met on Tinder but the timing wasn’t right. So we never met in person, but we never stopped thinking about each other. One day I got the courage to message him after 8 months of just secretly watching each other on social media. Then we went on our first date and we knew then that this was something special. I went to work the next day and told my friends that I had just met my future husband and now almost 2 years later, we are getting married!”
How sweet is that!? I loved how she told her friends right away that she had just met her future husband after one date! Courtney and Garrett did an amazing job at their Engagement Session, following my guiding and posing prompts, and I think we got some beautiful pictures for them to enjoy!
With all that Courtney and Garrett had to go through so far since their Engagement and the weeks after happened during our country’s pandemic and shutdown, they deserved to have a special time to celebrate! I hope they enjoyed their session together and will remember this time together and these pictures as something to cherish forever! Thank you also to the gracious owners of The Hitching Post for allowing us to use your venue for our session! I hope to be back again sometime to shoot another session or wedding! If you are looking for a great venue for your wedding, definitely check them out too!
Congrats Courtney and Garrett on your Engagement!
