Ashley and Jabarra’s summer wedding at The Stables at Forevermore Farm in Moore, SC was absolutely lovely! It had been a couple years since I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Forevermore Farm, and I was so excited to be back there! Helping Ashley and Jabarra through their whole wedding photography experience was not a job I took lightly, and one that I was so honored to do. Their day with family and friends surrounding them, was such a sweet celebration of happiness and love!
When I first arrived to The Stables at Forevermore Farm, I got there early and scoped out the location around the stables for great picture spots. That’s something I always do, especially when I’ve never been to a venue before, but even when I’ve previously been there too. When I photographed past weddings at The Stables, it was during different seasons. Being a professional wedding photographer, I am trained to find the best possible light for your photos . . . and of course a beautiful location like Forevermore Farm only helps to make your photos even better!! And Ashley and Jabarra had done an Engagement Session with me during their wedding experience, so they knew they could trust me to help them look their absolute best wherever I took them for photos. Shortly after scoping out the grounds, Ashley and her Mom arrived to get set up in the Bridal Suite. Forevermore Farm Stables has the cutest Bridal Suite right behind The Stables with plenty of room for the bride, family, and bridesmaids to finish getting ready and hang out before the pictures and ceremony starts. I loved being able to get some shots of Ashley with her Mom getting ready!
Jabarra arrived shortly after and enjoyed some time hanging out with some of the guys in the awesome room Forevermore Stables has complete with a pool table! Playing a game of pool for sure will help ease the nerves, if there are any, and just gives a fun activity for the guys to do as they are waiting for their picture time too! I was sure to grab some shots of Jabarra getting ready too!
The First Look:
After detail shots and getting ready, came one of my favorite times of the day – the First Look between the Bride and Groom! Ashley and Jabarra were on board right away when I told them about the option of doing a first look on their wedding day. With their ceremony not starting until later in the evening at 7:30 pm, a First Look would ensure that we were able to get almost all of the photos completed before the ceremony even started! From a logistical point of view, it just made sense for their day, so that they could get in to visit and enjoy their guests during the reception faster. But also from an emotional and personal perspective, I think it made a lot of sense to have a First Look for Ashley and Jabarra. They both said they were glad they had decided to do the First Look – it gave them a chance to just enjoy being together throughout their whole wedding day, and also helped to ease their nerves a lot before the ceremony. I love this FIRST LOOK!!
Bride and Groom Portraits:
After this sweet moment, we moved into bride and groom portraits – my specialty and one of my favorite parts of the day!! From this moment on, the wedding day was in full motion and things progressed through the day! Ashley and Jabarra had a great group of friends and family who came to celebrate with them during their sunset evening ceremony. It was a joy to serve them during this day!! Enjoy some more highlights from their day below!
Congratulations again to Ashley and Jabarra on your marriage! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek from your beautiful day at The Stables at Forevermore Farm. Thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day!
