Devin and Dakota’s wedding at The Stables at Forevermore Farm was so beautiful! It fit perfectly with their rustic engagement session I had done earlier in the Fall. Devin and Dakota had many family and friends who came together to help them celebrate their special wedding day together.
Dakota and her bridesmaids had a perfect Bride’s cabin to get ready in back behind the Stables.
After Dakota finished getting ready with her bridesmaids, she delivered a special gift to Devin via one of her bridesmaids. It was a special moment for Devin to read what Dakota had written to him and enjoy the goodies that were given!
Then although they did not want to have a first look, Devin and Dakota did decide to have a special moment around the door to hold hands. We were very careful that they couldn’t see each other. The next time they would be holding hands, they would be in the ceremony getting ready to become husband and wife!
Before Dakota was walked down the aisle, she first had a few special moments with her Dad. It was very apparent how special this time was for both Dakota and her Dad.
When Devin saw Dakota for the first time, it was apparent that his breath was taken away by the sight of her. She was also touched by the moment of walking down the aisle to her groom to finally marry her forever!
Their ceremony was filled with special moments, one of them being when Dakota and Devin filled a picture frame with different colored sand along with Devin’s daughter to symbolize them coming together as one family.
Later in the night, Dakota also gifted Devin’s daughter with a special bracelet that said, “Today I tell your Dad “I Do” and I promise you forever too.”
The rest of their wedding day was filled with good food, dancing, times with their fun wedding party and family and friends.
Congratulations Dakota and Devin! I wish you the best in your marriage. It was an honor capturing your wedding day in photos!
