This past Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Travis and Chana’s wedding at The Stables at Forevermore Farm in Moore, SC. The Stables is a fairly new wedding venue at Forevermore Farm, so I was so excited to photograph it along with my beautiful couple!
Chana and Travis had such a beautiful day, filled with friends and family, who celebrated with them on their special day. In the words of Chana when we first started discussing their wedding last February she said, “We want our wedding to be fun! We want everyone to come to the wedding and leave saying, ‘That was the most fun wedding I have ever attended.’ We love to have a good time and laugh. There is never a dull moment around us.” I think everyone who came could agree that they accomplished their dream of it being a very fun wedding full of laughs and good times for sure!
I really enjoyed getting to know Chana and Travis through the things they shared with me about themselves before the wedding. They met each other at the racetrack. They both had been going to the racetrack their whole lives but had never said anything to each other. Then one day Travis got Chana’s snapchat name from one of their mutual friends and then ever since, they haven’t stopped talking!
After dating for 2 years and 2 months, Travis popped the big question on July 4th of 2016. They were in Helen, Georgia visiting with Travis’ Dad’s family and with Travis’ daughter, Kayleigh. He ended up popping the question when they were all at a firework show by the river. It was so fitting, because that is Chana’s favorite holiday! And of course she said yes!
Everything came together for such a beautiful day for Chana and Travis. One special thing Chana asked me to photograph was a first look between her and her cousin, Nolan. They had been like brother and sister growing up, and it was a sweet, special time for him to get to see her before the wedding.
Their ceremony was so God honoring and special. I loved that they chose to do a unity painting with Travis, Chana, and Kayleigh symbolizing them coming together as one family.
I am so happy for them and their families as they look forward to the start of a wonderful marriage together! I hope you enjoy more of the photos below from your beautiful wedding day!
I loved being able to take Chana and Travis out for a few more bride and groom portraits right before sunset. This is one of my most favorite parts of the wedding day! A time for just enjoying finally being husband and wife!
